Argyris: Wonderful Greek cuisine overlooking the port of Kamares

In the creek formed by the natural shoreline to the right of the port of Kamares – in Agia Marina – the famous Argyris creates all the conditions for wonderful tasty delights at its tables spread out on a stone pier, overlooking the blue of the sea and the small boats. A one minute walk from the adjacent parking, the scenery here is simple, beautiful, relaxing.

Everyone knows Argyris. This is due to his seafood menu with plenty of opening appetizers, the traditional revythada and his mastelo – which is goat in the hull with potatoes, simply unforgettable – but also to the wonderful grilled meats. His onion pie is also excellent, prepared from a recipe that has been passed on for generations and his light chickpea salad, the only one you will find on the island.

Cosmopolitan as much as needed, he does not provoke with alien materials and arrogant innovations – his dishes are based on tradition, good cooking, quality raw materials, taste. A fantastic place to experience the sunset, but also wonderful for lunch after swimming on the sandy beach, with its Cycladic peace and its characteristic hospitality.

His menu does not lack the exuberant shrimp spaghetti, an unsurpassed village salad with local mizithra – pure flavors – the velvety fava, the great cheese croquettes, with svelte service, very good prices and the most dreamy location. For the sweet finale, choose its top baklava.
